Thank You

What an adventure it was to get to this point, and well worth the wait!
Blake and I couldn't have made this day as magical as it was without the help of our friends and family. This post isn't just to spam you with more of our lovey-dovey pictures (kind of) but also to say "thank you!"

Firstly, a shout out to my heroes and role models.  My parents are the example of sacrifice, unconditional love, and hard work. And they spoil us ;)

My mom, even if she doesn't believe it, is actually quite the designer. I can count on her to do the impossible. She decorated our entire wedding and even catered with creative foods and table settings (while saving lots of monies!) Not only that, but she helped me find MY dress and made everything about the day special.
My dad is cool too I guess hehe. He's awesome! I got to have him walk me down the aisle, and we captured a picture of him that makes me cry! My daddy has always been a foundation for me in my life. I can also count on him to get people dancing! My folks are pretty darn amazing.

Next, let's give kudos to Blake's family. His parents, Roger, and siblings are all from Oregon (yes, they drove!) They made the whole trip for us, AND Rachel and Landon were in our bridal party AND his mom made an AMAZING cake. No joke, it was so good I wanted to take it on the honeymoon. It's not easy to travel and it's harder to come from families so far apart, but working harder for the ones we love means the most to me. I'm excited that we're all family now.

Next I have to give it up to my boys. I love my brothers more than almost anything! But really, I love them. They are my best friends. I was thankful James could come home from his mission in time for the festivities, even if he wasn't as excited as Blake and I were ;) And Dylan is always a goofygoober, and my buddy. One of my favorite parts from the night was our "siblings" dance after the "father-daughter" dance. My idea!

A grand shoutout to someone special in my life, my Grandpa Surlin. Blake and I were sealed in the morning in the LDS Gilbert Arizona Temple, and it was beautiful and sacred moment we'll cherish forever.
However, it's a tight guest list as some of you might know, and I wanted to share the union with other family and friends Blake and I have.  My Grandpa is Jewish, and I've always found the mixed culture in our family to be really awesome.
So, we had Grandpa host a ceremony for us at the reception hall, with some of his magic sprinkled into it.  It turned out to be the most unique, special, and personal ceremony ever. Everyone loved it! Especially me. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

The Bridal Party! My best friends since... elementary school! I was so glad they could all make it; I really couldn't have done it without them. Natalie, Cassi, and Capri you are all my rocks hehe.
There is a 4th lady in my party who is now a sister! That's exciting because... I've never had one before! Rachel is a sweetheart, and now she is mine (evil laugh!) I guess that means I also adopted Landon! Blake was very pleased to have his siblings with us.
We were also very excited Blake's long-time friends, Kessler and Jane, could come as well. It's a long ways from BYUI to come down to Arizona, but it wouldn't have been the same without them there.

I could keep going on and on, but for the sake of you being able to finish reading this blog I'm going to switch tactics to short excerpts!

To my Grandma, my #1. My grandparent's really surprised us with their killer dance moves.

To our family and friends that had to travel from far-away lands.

To Robyn our killer photographer from engagements to almost all the photos on this blog!
(That's her cute little head behind Blake!)

To our friends and family close-by that came to celebrate!

To Uncle Larry and his camera contribution to the fun and memorable wedding party moments.

To Blake's amazing friends from his mission!

The Nelsons for their awesome photo-booth! It was a huge hit!

To my boss at Blume Events and the ladies who helped with my gorgeous bouquet and other floral additions :)

AND my neighbors who threw me an amazing bridal shower, you guys are the sweetest!

Honestly there's a zillion more people I'd love to give shoutouts to, even if their photos aren't up here. And here it is!
WE LOVE YOU! Thank you for everything, for starting off our union with a bang ;) For making the day wonderful.

(For ALL of the epic pictures, just check the labeled blog tabs on the right!)

This last shoutout will be to my hubby and to the Gospel. The temple was an amazing experience that I want to relive everyday with you.
Love you!

To the start of eternity.
